Liz has always been fascinated with the human mind, which led her from a New York theater career to one as an MFT and drama therapist in California. In 2006 she fell in love with this amazing population, and of her 20 years of clinical experience, the last 16 have been working exclusively with children, teens and young adults on the spectrum. Liz has taught graduate school at CIIS and has provided therapy at Bay Area schools for over a decade. She maintains a private practice, provides autism consultation and is a national presenter on creative approaches with autism. Liz has a B.A. in Undergraduate Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
