Dandelion Clubhouse is a one of kind platform. Our approach is rooted in social emotional learning, science, humanities, drama and is skillfully tailored to each student's unique wiring. Dandelion Clubhouse enlists the interests and strengths of neurodivergent tweens and teens so they can express themselves authentically, connect deeply and engage in critical thinking.
Musical Drama, Improv, Global Mystery Adventures, Brain Science and Girl Power are just some of our offerings.
Clubs take place after-school or Saturday late morning and are 45 to 50 minutes once a week for 8 weeks. Classes are taught by MFT/drama therapist, Liz McDonough who has nearly two decades working with neurodivergent children and teens. Check out our offerings below!

Who doesn't love a good mystery? With detective hats in tow, students will travel the virtual globe to uncover clues and solve mysteries. This play-based group will introduce different cultures as it targets executive functioning, critical thinking, and perspective-taking. Finally, it will introduce the concept of building resilience in the face of challenges.
Emotional Regulation and Executive Functioning can be challenging for differently wired tweens and teens. In this lively class, students will learn about the miraculous power of their frontal lobes to plan, solve problems, temper big feelings and control impulses. With the help of animal tour guides as well engaging visuals and drama games, students will practice putting their frontal lobes into action.
